cant remote to my server

There are 3 replies in this Thread which was already clicked 1,115 times. The last Post () by newtolinux.

    running ubuntu 10.4 and putty to ssh into server, wont let me in at all and has been fine for over a month now?


    Also using winscp for ftp but that wont connect now either but if i check cccam webif and oscam both still running fine, server working ok but cant log in to it.

    have you checked that ssh is running still . it may have crashed or something . try restarting ssh with :-


    $ sudo /etc/init.d/ssh restart


    you will obviousely have to do this with a keyboard and monitor plugged to your server as you cant currently remote access
