  • Hi all I have an amiko shd 8900 and running the buss e2 image along side spark in the e2 image can anyone help me get it running via oscam I have an N line I can use but not sure where to put it in the e2 files? I have the oscam emu installed already just need to know where to enter the server details thanks

    p.s cccam works but often get a few freezes so want to try out oscam

  • CCCam cannot run on an SH4 chipset based box like the Alien SHD-8900. The version of CCCam in Spark is a modified version of MGCamd that reports itself as CCCam.

    To put an N line into oscam you can do so as follows.

    N: userdns.com 25911 user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    becomes

    [reader]
    label= Server 1
    protocol= newcamd
    key= 0102030405060708091011121314
    device= userdns.com,25911
    user= user
    password= pass
    group= 1

    You add the lines to the OSCam.server file. Its unlikely that the N line will be any better in OSCam, its most probable that the glitching will be from the server you are connected to.

  • Hi Nano thanks for your response but the server is mine and it is smooth on cccam on any box i run on cccam, I also run Oscam along side my ubuntu server.
    I did buy this box for iptv functions but seems that was a naive decision as ipyv goes ha but a bit of reading and roaming around the internet it seems this box runs smoother on oscam rather than CCcam i have got it running ton both spark and e2 on CCcam but after 20 mins of viewing it judders and pixelates and it it not the server i think its its more the like you say modified version of CCcam so on mu server running CCcam and Oscam i have added myself a N line i am just not sure how to allow this box to access my oscam server.

    anymore help is much appreciated

    And for all the skeptics out there its not a pay server not am i trying to capture sales nor advertise any form or pay server so please don't close this thread as i really could do with some help

  • hi cccam runing on enigma2 only in oscam

    you have to change 2 archives in oscam enigma 2

    oscam server

    and oscam user

    then test your c line

  • that seems to be to durn oscam server from the box i do not wish to run a server from the box but just to connect to an oscan server for instance if i run a oscan ubuntu server with

    1234.dyndns.tv
    port - 123456
    username - 1234
    password - 1234

    how would i connect to this server with oscam on the amiko stb ?

    p.s on a openbox or drerambox i would usually just insert an N line to cccam.cfg to connect to the oscam server like so
    N: 1234.dyndns.tv 123456 1234 1234 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    I have tried this but it does not work

  • I don't think you understand what I want to achieve I don't want to convert a c line I have a server running oscam I have added a user to my oscam users I want to run native oscam on the stb to connect to the oscam server as I read this box runs better running oscam or even mgcamd

  • ok so from your server yo make n line

    copy and past

    this to oscam server enigma2

    this is in your image enigma2 var ect oscam

  • ok so i copied and pasted what u put above and edited the server name user/password and port etc but still when i start oscam on the box i get nothing :(

  • OK, now your confusing me.

    What is it exactly you want to do with your box. Firstly you state you only want to use your N line on it then you say you want to run a server on it.

    Have a look at this thread. Its for a different receiver but all the oscam files should be the same.

    It sounds like to me you haven't set up any of the other required config files needed in order to get oscam running.

  • i do not want to run a server on the box and never have my server is a ubuntu based pc server and i have added user to my oscam on my ubuntu server and i want this box to connect through oscam to my oscam server
