  • I have a Debian server running oscam where I have a client who persists in leaving thier box on a pay channel during off peak periods - he has been warned!

    Is there a method in oscam to disable the offending client if the channel hasn't changed for a period of time or maybe certain times over night?

    Its not a biggy but it makes choosing periods for maintenence difficult.

  • Thanks for reply but changing his user group will permanently cut him out and yes it is a problem with reshare as others are complaining!

    Like I said, is there a way of monitoring channel code and if it doesn't change for say four hours, then disable him?

  • I agree!

    If it isn't straight forward then what you say is the only alternative. I think I shall change his user group and when he squeals, give him an altimatum.

    Thanks for your time.

  • I had pets like that. .. and I'm thinking why would anyone stay on 1 channel for 12 hours ...I cut them off.... something is not right. .. I don't understand why you wouldn't just get rid. ... and get a share from somewhere else. .. maintenance wise. .. It don't take long for oscam to restart...10 secs if that...

  • i dont see what the problem is unless you have hundreds of ppl doing it then it would make a difference?

    Its good to be conservative especially if its your reshare and the peer sharing the channel has complained ,I myself like to respect reshare and appreciate peers who do the same, some peers you wonder if they are running iptv servers off your lines lol

  • stix
    Is it not possible to use these parameters in the user file to do what you need?

    sleep =180
    sleepsend = 255

    What would these do exactly, please explain. Thanks

    This is what I think when someone stays on one Chanel for so long. .. Not flicking at all. .. Just not natural.
