upgrading package

right lads this might sound stupid but i want to upgrade my package to hd i use a dm500 as sever but have a dm800hd is it possible to still use my dm500 as a sever and get full hd on my dm800 r do i need to use dm800 as server instead and do i need to put my card back in origonal box for the update to take place thanks lads

A sd box can be used as a server of hd channels.

When you upgrade to HD you will get a new box from sly which i imagine will mean an engineer visit.

ten i have the hd box allready mate that they supplied me with last year i was just wondering do i need to put my card in the box so it takes the update r will it be ok to leave it in my dm500s dont want to order upgade untill im sure i can leave it in my sever tanks lads

I would do the upgrade in the original receiver just to be on the safe side mate.
