  • Hi guys im pretty new to all of this but here goes nothing

I fancied a little play around with this so i got it from someone

I have acquired a dm800hd clone sim2.10( exact writing on sim is DM800 12105 SIM210) with the dreaded no ca found error

aparently it was flashed with an incorrect image hence why this comes up

Ive tried doing the following using windows xp(32 bit) windows 7 pc 32 and 64 bit edition , also i may add i am using a true serial port NOT USB

ive tried to flash with dreamup ,used dm800 repair tool , used sim repair tool etc , enforcer , basically a million and one tools out there to try and get it to work but no joy as of yet

when i plug it into dreamup it says dm800 detected then does nothing else

ive used a patched version of dreamup to try and upload a file to it (where it enables the flash button), when i select a file it just sits on calculating checksum or sometimes says (file too big)

this is a paste from hyperterminal (plugging in the box )

any help would be appreciated as im not convinced its days are over just yet and i do enjoy a little play :))))))

  • Hello Inspiral , thank you for yout advice
, ive just had a go at using this and its still not working , i have already tried the ncf tool and it didnt work, using optiflasher it gave me wrong response again ,

is this normal for this 800hd to have sim210 in it ?

  • Yes I have Dm800 sim2 also m8

Optiflasher should sort it m8 used it a few times to fix noCAerror
Ensure you choose correct options- sim2 & bootloader 75

Trying a diff dreamup version is another option too :-)

If my post helps hit the Thanks ;-)
