    just looking at getting a new linux based sat box and these boxes are catching my eye, especially as the price is falling dramatically on them, does anyone on here have one that would recommend it or are other boxes available better at the same price. this will be my main box replacing my dreambox 800hd se clone, now wanting original box so dont suggest any clones thanks

    VU SOLO2 is faster then the Ultimo but does not have the PNP tuner option, just the two fixed ones.


    or you can wait and see the pricing on the new gigablue quad PLUS.


    Ultimo is good box with a great VFD but showing its age now in terms of speed
