hey guys ,got an s9 dis morning ,ust wondering how can i find out if der is already a firmware installed on it,it alreadt has sat list and channel list and the likes,so i went ahead and put n the cline and it seems to be working fine,im ust cautious i may be doin harm if der isn a firmware on it,or wud it not work without,cheers,miltown man

Yes the firmware is installed, if not , you can´t start the box:32_002:
You can check it on >> menu, info -
As has been mentioned already go menu/tools/information and look at the line beside version. This tells you what firmware you are on. If you look at it, it's actually a date and time.
