Good evening to everybody and I apologise straight away if my query is on the simple side but the Miraclebox is my first true Linux receiver and its workings are still much of a mystery to me. I have used Technomate, Spiderboxes (one still in operation) and an Mvision box and they were rather easy machines on which to enter CCcam data. I have looked at a few tutorials and so far I have managed to use the Dreambox Control Center to connect to the receiver but I was unable to find the CCcam. cfg file on which to enter the data. Prior to this I had I downloaded the CCcam 2.2.1 plugin and activated it in the softcam manager was this not the right thing to do and does the CCcam.cfg file have to be added separately? My box is running the Vix software, many thanks in advance and I am sure there will be many other rather simple queries in the future.

If you downloaded CCcam from the Openvix feeds in won`t have any config files included, you need to add your own buddy..
Download a CCcam.cfg
Or use one from the Softcam and config pack i attached for you..
FTP CCcam.cfg to /etc
FTP oscam configs to /etc/tuxbox/config
FTP mgcamd configs to /usr/softcams
FTP Softcam binarys to /usr/softcams (Give permissions 755)

Hi Guys,
I just bought my Miraclebox. I am completely a novice in this. How do i download the viv softcams & configs into my box. Do I have to download the software into a disc first or how? Please i need your help. Any manual guide or steps for newbies like us? -
Softcams can be downloaded from the image addon feed. Menu > Plugins > Green button / download > Softcams..
Any softcams downloaded from this feed won`t come with configs, so let us know what you are configuring so we can point you in the right direction..
Softcams with configs can be downloaded here -> OpenViX Softcam Collection

Thanks a lot and remain blessed

It's all in post #6 by master G.
Press "menu" button on your remote.
Scroll to plugins.
Press "ok" on remote
then press "green button " on remote.
This will download a preview of plugins from the image feeds (vix in this case)
Scroll down to "softcams" and press ok.
Then select the emulator of choice.
The emulators that you download from these feeds will not have any configs.
In order to get configs for the emulators, click on the other links that master G provided.
The last link contains a tutorial on how to install these configs (ipk file)
Are you trying to get a card/subscription working or a line? -
Thanks a lot Codar and Master G. According to your question Codar, I want a line. I know how to download the CCcam.config and FTP it to etc. Is Oscam configs, mgcamd config and softcam binary separate files that need to be downloaded and FTPed as well? Are they compatible to Miraclebox? Please, what are the functions of thoso files? In a nutshell, what setups do i need to get my Miraclebox premium hd fully up and going? Thank you in anticipation and your inestimable support is greatly appreciated.

Install CCcam 2.3.0 from the image feed, restart enigma2 > FTP the CCcam.cfg to /etc folder > Open the CCcam.cfg while on the receiver copy/paste/save the lines details > press blue button > softcam manager > start and enable CCcam at startup.
