oscam freezing in amiko alien 2

    any1 know why every now and them my ecm goes through the roof (not server as i tried on my other box vu+ solo2) also tried different servers via C: and N:


    i am using pog22 image in martinxps OpenPli 20.3. 2014 spark 7162 thread at present
    also tried hyperion 3 and 4 and same thing happens
    i have oscam 9200 but tried a few

    hi, so you have 2 reciever one vusolo and one amiko no, where is your card ?

    so is just the ecm go higth somes times in the amiko? but picture ok

    If you only have 1 reader on the amiko disable loadbalancer by removing these lines in oscam.conf


    lb_mode = 1
    lb_save = 100
    lb_min_ecmcount = 2
    lb_reopen_seconds = 300
    lb_retrylimit = 800
    lb_stat_cleanup = 4
    lb_auto_timeout_t = 500


    If that does not sort the issue change inactivity timeout in [reader]
    inactivitytimeout = 3600


    Also try changing
    nice = -10


    Lastly, is the SLY_UK_#blank [reader] on your local network?
    If so, use the local IP address rather than DNS address..
    & if "SLY_UK_#blank" is the real name for that reader, change it to "SLY_UK"

    there is no card in the amiko at all so i will remove the lines


    card renamed(was just name in image was trying to leave all settings)


    will test nice n dns after testing this


    what is demuxing as when it freezes allways says about it

    Not so sure that would do anything other than cause a disconnection. If the server it is connecting to is a CCCam server changing the expected protocol wouldn't work. OSCam would also be expecting to see the DESKey if you changed the protocol to Newcs.


    As annoying as i find my Alien 2 i have never had that issue by just using a basic OScam set up.

    Very stranger, in my Alien2, when I use CCCAM has a freezing, but changing to NEWCAMD work fine for me !

    That makes complete sense now that you have posted the whole config.


    Just by changing protocol line from cccam to newcamd as you previously posted would not have worked. Detail is the key when trying to explain to others how to set something up.
