I was on a version mentioned, and I never get my entitlements updated. I'm using a raspberry pi with and omnikey reader. I've now done a fresh install with the latest version of oscam. But I'm now getting" could not detect dvbapi version"

    Any help would be great.

Why are you using dvbapi on raspberry pi?
There is no need for it. Update your card from trusted client box's..

Post your configs.. server, user & conf (Remove sensitive data)

Master G helped me out with the configs, have you got a minute to look at my setup? Really would help me out.

Why, Is there still a problem?

I do not have the time for TeamViewer or anything like that but if you post configs and explain your problem I will have a look..

    oscam.dvbapi

  • And what is your issue m8?

Can you please tell me the purpose of dvbapi in this setup?
Also, Is CCcam running on the pi or is that CCcam.cfg off a client box?

It looks from local host in N:line (127.0.0.1) that it is on the pi also.. What are you using cccam for because all your users are in oscam so CCcam looks to be doing Zero? & you have port 12000 opened in oscam & cccam, this will cause issues...

So many problems with this setup I dont know where to start

    Basically,

1.. You need something to read your card, you are using oscam.
2.. You need a server to share your card, you are also using oscam as server..
3.. dvbapi as far as I was aware was just used to watch TV on the server (Most commonly in STB's)

From what I can see, there is no need for cccam or dvbapi in this setup

  • I had issues updating my card, so master g helped by adding the dvbapi and the cccam, maybe he didn't realise it was running on the pi. Shall I post my original configs? They worked fine but the card never updated. Which looks like it was because the version of oscam I was running.

Thanks for the help, do appreciate it.

If Master G suggested this setup, then there must have been good reasons for using it.

    Is the card updating now?

What are the client box's you & your neighbour are using?
& what cam's are loaded on them? Have you any client box's running pure CCcam?
