1) Start LCD4Linux plugin..
2) Press Blue button to scroll through the different settings until you get to LCD4Linux Display-Mode On > Scroll down to Picon path and press OK..
3) Navigate through the directory list so it is set as /media/usb/picon/, press Green to select..
4) Press Green to Save..
5) Start LCD4Linux plugin again > Press Restart Displays/Yellow button..

Hi.
Ive tried that but still cant find picon .
Do you think ive got it set up right on usb stick -
Ive just put the picons in a folder called picon is that right. ?

How do you have the picons on the USB ? Are picons working on the infobar or anywhere else on the image ? Which image are you using ? Are mountpoints setup for the USB ?
There must be a folder named picon with the picon images inside of it.

No they dont work on info bar either.
What are mountpointsIm on black hole

What are mountpointsThe mountpoint is the directory where you have the USB setup to, example /media/usb or /media/hdd..

Put the picon folder in /usr/share/enigma2/ and reboot..
You can also edit the LCD4Linux config in your browser like so; (192.168.1.92 to your own duo2`s ip address)
http://192.168.1.92/lcd4linux/config/
Copy the same config as is in the image above then click 49001a956322c69af4f.png in the top right corner of the screen.. Restart the LCD4Linux display..

HDD is not recommended because it takes time for the hard drive to spin up before the picon image appears, whereas internal flash (/usr/share/enigma2) or USB (/media/usb/) is instant..
-
Yes sorry they are coming from /usr/share/enigma2/picon
