Wondered if someone could help me please. How can you tell a clone solo 2 from a genuine by looking at the front and back of the receiver?

clone clone clone not hard to tell mate

Most likely a clone. One way of checking is looking for "dots" around screw fixings. Look closely on placements of "dots" around screws in the link by Master G (dots inside fan). In clone, these dots are not properly aligned outside and around of screws.

The fan openings have a curved edge, your one looks like straight edges.
Also i looks like there is no magnet around the closing front clip from what i can see.
How much did you pay for it may i ask?
