Can anyone help me install my cline to a Gigablue box, I cant connect the box with Filezila as you would do with a Vu. Does anybody know the correct username passwoard combo?

Which image do you have installed on it buddy ? FTP login is usually;
user = root
passwd = (blank, no password) -
its the vix image....have tried that combo but still getting nothing

If it`s openvix then the password is blank like in my last post.. Try using a different FTP client like Dreambox Control Center. Do you get Telnet Connected or FTP Connected with this tool ?

Configuration > Set connection type as Direct Crossover > Click Search - this will scan your network for the correct ip address. If an ip address is not found, make sure the receiver has dhcp on in network setup and has a connection on the network..

still not connecting, saying telnet connected the disconnected...all IPs are correct and dhcp on in box, broadband connected fine too

Yeah, I have just read on another forum that it could be my modem security settings. I have changed from WPA2 to WPA, gonna give it a try (after the match)
