Recommended by other people and watching some videos and reviews about this receiver I've almost come to the conclusion to buy this.
But I do have some questions:
1. Will I be able to output this in my Laptop/Computer?
-- I don't really know much about this stuff. I am not in my country right now so I will not buy a new TV just for the months I am going to be in here, so I wanted to ask if I could watch TV from this receiver in my Laptop that has an HDMI port? What about my Computer that has a DVI & VGA port?
2. How good is the built-in PVR?
-- I saw some videos that this receiver has a built-in PVR, and this really makes me so vulnerable to buy it. BUT, does that mean I can only use this to watch those recorded clips through this receiver, or I can also transfer those files to my PC?
And will this record in HD1080i .ts mpeg-2 or mpeg-4 format?
