Coulple of questions before I purchase a BM5000

    Hi, I'm in the process of purchasing a BM5000, but as a newbie have a few questions.


    1. Do I need to patch this BOX in order to use an alternative subscription service ?


    2. Can you receive standard freesat channels and subscribe to alternatives at the same time ? Reason I ask is because I've heard HD channels are no longer working on subscribed channels.


    3. As a newbie, what patches should I apply to a new BM5000 to get the best out of it ?
