As the title says, last firmware upgrade was a while back and since service + lost lots more than what it had is there any idea what is due for this box or has even darkman given up on so called gift and the spiderbox stb`s ??
HD Picture is great on this stb but epg not great ?

but sounds like it should be grand!
Go for it its easy it may take 2 or 3 times before you get it working but when you got it it will work ok
with this rytec epg do you have to continually update say monthly and is it only for one sat position say 28.2 east ?
the rytec epg is normally only for 7/8 days so you will have to do a weekly update
I have fitted latest firmware for spiderbox 9000HD all looks ok my server working ok for now with it and cline working good too for now still need to enter latest keys and softcam wonder if i will get more glitching with service or should i say ethernet working along side server and cline lol ??

Older boxes' ethernet permissions have expired and they can no longer connect. Other boxes will suffer the same fate as time goes by.
Only the oldest have this issue, and all have had service for much more than 12 months.

had mine over 2 years now and had neuvostream then service + so cant really complain
Mines gone too but cant complain had a good 2 years.
Shame there is no option to extend the gift at present except by getting a new box
Take a read about the cccam/newcamd features of this box.
