Try commando 15.0 D from here => DM500 & Clone Images..

You don`t need dreamup to flash this image, do it in telnet with putty or dreambox control center..

To flash an image using Telnet

This method will only work with a .img image file.

Rename the image file to backup.img
FTP the image file to the /tmp folder on the dreambox
Telnet to your box with putty or dreambox control center and paste the following command, then press enter:

cd /tmp && eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup.img /dev/mtd/3 && reboot

Oscam, CCcam & Mgcamd For Commando Neutrino Image Dm500

Setup the tuner as simple configuration on 28.2 east then use built in AutoBouquets plugin to setup a channel list and scan the satellite.

Extract Commando_15-0_DM500_Release.rar with winrar or 7-Zip, inside the folder there is a disc file named Commando_15_dm500_Release, rename that to backup.img

Doesn`t make any difference buddy, flashing the new image will overwrite/delete the old image..

Are you using commando or a different image ?

If it`s commando the CCcam binary goes into /var/bin/emu folder. You don`t need to change permissions, as the image will do this for you..

If you are using dreambox control center, right click on the CCcam binary to change attributes / permissions..

Press blue button > extras menu > softcam menu, from there you can start the cam.
