Restart OSCAM when TVH running: "Will not forward EMMs (not allowed by server)"

  • I am using latest TVHeadend build (as of today), 3.9.1721 and OSCAM Trunk r9875 Timeline Modern r1124.
    I also use XBMC 13.2.
All this runs on my "tv server" with Ubuntu 14.04.

Everything works really fine but I have noticed that when I restart OSCAM when TVH is running I see the message "Will not forward EMMs (not allowed by server)" in the TVH log.
However, if I stop TVH and keep OSCAM runing and then start TVH again the log properly shows "Will forward EMMs"

Log in TVH when restarting OSCAM server (I have replaced card numbers etc with xx in the log printouts below):

    2014-10-04 13:07:59.000 cwc: Connected to 127.0.0.1:10001
    2014-10-04 13:07:59.002 cwc: 127.0.0.1:10001: Connected as user tvheadend to a Conax-card [0x0b00 : 00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00] with 1 providers
    2014-10-04 13:07:59.002 cwc: 127.0.0.1:10001: Provider ID #1: 0x000000 00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00
2014-10-04 13:07:59.002 cwc: 127.0.0.1:10001: Will not forward EMMs (not allowed by server)

Log in TVH when restarting TVH while OSCAM is running:

    2014-10-04 13:40:24.000 cwc: Connected to 127.0.0.1:10001
    2014-10-04 13:40:24.002 cwc: 127.0.0.1:10001: Connected as user tvheadend to a Conax-card [0x0b00 : 00.00.00.00.xx.xx.xx.xx] with 1 providers
    2014-10-04 13:40:24.002 cwc: 127.0.0.1:10001: Provider ID #1: 0x000000 00.00.00.00.00.xx.xx.xx
    2014-10-04 13:40:24.002 cwc: 127.0.0.1:10001: Will forward EMMs

The difference I see is that when I restart OSCAM while TVH is running is that the conax card numbers are all zero as well as the provider ID. Compare this to the lower log output when I restart TVH while OSCAM is running. In this case the Conax card displays proper card id and also correct provider id.

Looking in the OSCAM-log I see the following when restarting OSCAM while TVH is running:

    2014/10/04 11:40:17 1DD13B0 c client connected to zzzzz port
    2014/10/04 11:40:17 1DD13B0 c encrypted newcamd:zzzzz-client 127.0.0.1 granted (tvheadend, au=on (1 reader))
    2014/10/04 11:40:17 1DD13B0 c user tvheadend authenticated successfully (Tvheadend)
    2014/10/04 11:40:17 1DD13B0 c AU disabled for user tvheadend

but when restarting TVH while OSCAM is running it looks like this:

    2014/10/04 11:40:53 1DD13B0 c client connected to zzzz port
    2014/10/04 11:40:53 1DD13B0 c encrypted newcamd:zzzz-client 127.0.0.1 granted (tvheadend, au=on (1 reader))
    2014/10/04 11:40:53 1DD13B0 c user tvheadend authenticated successfully (Tvheadend)
2014/10/04 11:40:53 1DD13B0 c AU enabled for user tvheadend on reader SerialReader

    This is sooo strange... :59:
