  • Smargo is the obvious choice, I use an Omnikey myself which is very good but will not work directly in cccam alone so need to use oscam to read it. Which card do you have ?

    Hi Ten Below its a S*Y White card. I have one subscribed card and one S*Y freesat and this reader just won,t read them. I would like to stay with just CCcam for the time being till im a bit more experienced with the cams and linux. Think the Smargo is the way to go?

    If your sticking with cccam only then it will have to be a smargo, bear in mind that cccam alone will not clear all channels ( pick tv & premier sports ) & the rest of the package will probably go the same way sooner rather than later. I would look into setting up oscam mate as you will need it in the future.

    Thanks for the advice i will go with oscam . I saw this on another forum when trying to find out a bit about this tbs card reader i now know it was called an easymouse2 premium and they seem to be using it fine with Oscam.

    This was on the Blog!

    I have found my Holy grail when Eurocardsharing was down.

    I picked up a couple of easymouse2 card readers, i guess the TBS3102 5 Crystal Phoenix/Smartmouse Card Reader is the same thing.

    I have these setup directly on my server with my cards. they work as stably as oscam does even at default speeds and all 5 of the clock speeds work on these bad boys.

    Result with oscam running at 12mhz, getting 0.068-0.076s ecm times on most channels and the cards are barely even getting warm thanks to the 3.3v switch.

    my config files read

    [reader]
    label = ***_uk_hd1
    protocol = mouse
    device = /dev/ttyUSB1
    showcls = 0
    caid = 0963
    detect = cd
    mhz = 1200
    cardmhz = 357
    group = 11
    emmcache = 1,1,7
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-s = 1
    blockemm-g = 1

    I made a couple of changes to many of the config files in the tutorials about. Firstly I have blocked all but UQ(unique) EMM's because those are the only ones that matter and I have never seen *** send any shared address EMM's.

    I have set the EMM cache to 1,1,7

    The First part is cache on or off, well we want that on.
    second part is now many times do we want to write that EMM, no need to write the same EMM more than once( though you could argue a *** box may write the same emm more than once).
    the last part is EMM logging and that is totally upto your preference.

    @ dabs Maybe you card will work this fast in your VU+duo with one of these readers.

    There maybe hope for this reader yet!

    So can i add Oscam in to my server now or do i start from the begining all seems very daunting! But theres only one way to learn.
    And then all the config files!!!!! :(

  • hi just wondering did you managed to get the reader working in oscam i have the TBS3102 5 Crystal Phoenix/Smartmouse Card Reader and cant get it to run..

    been trying for two days now still no luck

    any advice would be appreciated
