  • Hello,

    I have a Dreambox DM8000 running GP3.
    Have 4 tuners in the Dreambox. 2 DVB-S and 2 DVB-C
    Got some instructions to use Mgcamd for getting some keys from a peer and that works fine.

    On top of the Satellite, I also have a Cable official Card that I have put in my Lower card reader.

    Cable channels work fine when I use CCCam
    Satellite channels work fine when I use the MGCamd

    Given there does not seem to be any Autocam anymore in GP3, I am seeking support to have my Cable local card working with MGCam given using MGCam is required for Sat (as per the instructions I was given).

    Hope anyone can help me here.

    Thanks

    I`m assuming you are using a CWS line in mgcamd ? change CWS = to N: and place the N line into CCcam.cfg. Then you can use CCcam for both sat and cable.

    Example:

    Code
    [COLOR='#FF0000']CWS =[/COLOR] hostname 10001 linuxsat support 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    [COLOR='#FF0000']N:[/COLOR] hostname 10001 linuxsat support 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    Thank you for the reply. Yes I use CWS
    Currently, I can only start one softcam or the other (through the Blue Panel).
    Do I need to start any other process to have something listening to port 10001 locally ? For my cable I don't have any remote servers.

    Thanks

    Hello.

    Just read your reply again, and have already tried changing the CCcam.cfg to put a N line and the SAT is not working.
    Is there any debug log file I can look into to understand what is going on ? Should I put something special in CCcam.prio or CCcam.providers
