How can I manually install mgcamd on Amiko alien2 triple+?

Hi guys!!!I would like to manually install the mgcamd. How can I manually install mgcamd on my Amiko alien2?In my case I would install MGcamd 1.38ts - SRG SSR patched.Thanks in advance!!!

This patched version of mgcamd must be compiled for sh4 spark type receivers.. Do you know if it has been ?

Where did you get this patched version from ?

You also need to let us know which image you will be trying this on. Any binary file will need a start script to go along with it..

That patched version you are trying is over 7 months old, the keys will no longer work for SRG / SSR.. You would be better using oscam Ymod with keys..

Download mgcamd or any other emulator for openatv image from here => http://secret.mynonpublic.com/sh4

Use 7-Zip to extract the ipk. The contents will reveal the script and how everything should be named..

It's a ipk file.it is very easy to install(plugin).For .sh4(mgcamd)how do you install it?thx again!:59:

1. Copy ipk to a USB stick > insert into receiver and follow on screen instructions.

2. FTP ipk to /tmp folder > install local extension in image menu.

3. FTP ipk to /tmp folder > paste the following command into telnet and press enter:

It`s the same process as i explained on a different thread -> How to install latest oscam ymod on amiko alien 2 sh4 spark receivers

For example the binary is named mgcamd, this is what the contents of the script looks like:

binname = mgcamd
startcam = /usr/bin/mgcamd -b -r 2 -c /usr/keys/
stopcam = killall -9 mgcamd
