thinking of replacing my amiko alien 2 with this buddy...thoughts?
amiko being sh4 (not mips) is a pain in the bum to get a stable image..
im wondering with crossepg using opentv will it switch the sly channel you're watching when downloading the latest epg data?
(twin satellite tuners usually use the second tuner to do the data retrival-if im not mistaken?)
it must do...
i hear good things about this box especially the remote..

I have tried both and would prefer the lx over the amiko to be honest.
The remote seems to be a stock remote though (same as the maxdigital xp 1000, I would prefer the amiko remote).
It is a bit busy for my liking with the buttons being too close together.
I found hyperion to be a very stable image for it. (although i haven't tried many)
