it is an enigma 2

I understand that buddy, but each image requires a compatible ipk for the image..
On the remote control Press Menu > Information > About.. Which firmware are you using ?
-
This is what it says in the About: Enigma 2: 2012-11-03-3.2
Image: Release 3.2.4 2012-11-04
Frontprocessor version 3 -
Install and start Glass System Utility plugin.
Universal Cams Manager > Yellow button / activate > Select a version of CCcam and press Green button / OK to install.
Select CCcam as default CAM by scrolling left or right.
Press the Yellow button / Activate.
Restart the receiver..
FTP CCcam.cfg in to /etc folder..
Start Glass system utility again > Universal cams manager > Restart CCcam.

Sorry bud I am a bit of a noob for this. I downloaded the file placed it in the root, installed it from the Software management menu but then can't see it anywhere. Thank you for your patience with me.
-
Place the ipk in /tmp folder then look for install local extension in the image menu.
Restart the receiver, now look in Menu > Plugins or press / hold blue button for extensions menu.
-
ok did this and now it tells me it only works with an HD skin when I want to start it...

I finally managed to download an HD skin, and followed your procedure. But still not working, is there a particular version of CCCam I need to grab? In my CCCam.cfg under etc I have my clines, and that's it, is that a problem?

Install and start TSPanel > Softcams > Blue button / Install > Select CCcamd-2.3.0 and press Blue button / Install..
Paste your c lines into the attached CCcam.cfg then FTP to /etc folder..
Restart receiver and start TSPanel again..
Softcams > Press Green button / Start/restart to start CCcam.

For some reason my Dreambox is no longer restarting I will need to reflash an image. Will get back to you when done. with what I see under the about info
-
If it`s not starting because of TSPanel, FTP to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions then delete the TSPanel folder.
Is this an original or cloned receiver ? If clone which sim and bootloader is it using ? When we have this info we can link you to a decent image.

Ok this is what my new image shows (sorry I had to take an other one): Enigma2 2011-11-10-3.2, Image: Release 3.2.1 2011-11-10 Frontprocessor version: 3. Can I still use TSPanel and the CCCam.cfg you sent me?
- - - Updated - - -
No this is an original Dreambox

If it did not restart it is probably because I had manually deleted a file that I thought was messing the CCCam restart. I hope now everything will work out with this image that I stated above. It is still scanning channels at this stage.
-
I would recommend flashing this firmware => OpenATV
Download CCcam from our addons on TSPanel or install the attached softcam feed..
You can still use the CCcam.cfg i attached on a previous post, FTP CCcam.cfg to /usr/keys on this image..
. It is still scanning channels at this stage.
Don`t bother scanning channels, download a channel list from our addons panel, try catseye.
If you use the openatv image try AutoBouquetsMaker plugin..

Guys, thank you so much but if you don't mind I would like to give it a last try with the prior methodology and current image. Why can't I see a soft cam sub menu in TS Panel?

Guys, I tried to flash the image you recommended (OpenAtv) and for some reason I am not able to flash it. My web browser does not find my dbox even in stop mode. I am stuck with the image mentioned above, can you please find a way to help me fix my cccam with the above image even if not ideal?

Thank you in advance.

Check CCcam is running and the server is online by looking at CCcamInfo in a browser like this: http://ip.address.of.dm800:16001
-
CCCam is active in the Softcam manager panel (under menu>setup). Sorry I am not sure I understand, I entered the ip of my dream box address in a browser and shows me the web interface, where can I see the info as to whether my cccam is online or not (the CCCam info). Also, does it make a difference which CCCam I downloaded and from where? because I downloaded them from TSPanel. Is there a way I can delete manually from ftp all of the cams I downloaded and start again?
-
Make sure you have :16001 on the end of the ip address, or else you will be connecting to the openwebif plugin.
If you can access the CCcam webinfo then CCcam is running, no need to try a different version, any version will do if you are only a client.
Click the Servers tab in CCcamInfo, this will show you if the server is connected and which cards it is providing.
