i tried to install sly skin from this link http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=44759. I transfered it into usr/share/enigma 2. I then tried to restart enigma 2 using telenet command got a message saying root:password not found. I think the problem is that the tm nano doesn't have a password as i can access the box by typing root only. This is the command that i entered in the telnet to restart the engima 2
wget -O /dev/null -q http:// root:password...tate?newstate =3

In telnet type passwd then press enter.
Follow on screen instructions, a prompt will ask you to type a password, do so, it won`t show on the screen while typing, press enter and repeat the process.

Thanks master G got the password sorted. But still getting an error message saying bad port after typing the command in.

What is that command supposed to do and why are you trying it ? The skin doesn`t require any telnet commands.

I'm trying to install a new skin. It tells you to use telnet command I was using this link http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=44759 and I can't access it now.
So now I'm using this one

Graphic Multi EPG, Progress Bar and Select Bars added.
Installation:
Telnet command
opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk
I placed the plugin into the tmp folder then ran the command as stated and it stated no such file or directory I have attached a picture showing this.

Make sure the ipk is in /tmp folder then try the telnet command again. If it`s in rar format the command won`t work.
Download Blue HD Skin from the OpenViX feeds, the previous skin you are trying is longer supported here buddy.

I have mucked the box up completely I have ended up deleting the default skin is there anyway of adding a new skin without having to reset the box I have a full backup on usb but leaving it to the last option.

In all honesty bud, if you have a full backup made of your box then for all the time it takes flash it back on I would do this.......
When that is completed do as master G has suggested and install the Blue HD skin by rossi 2000 directly from the openvix feeds.
menu/plugins green button to download plugins.... skins/blue HD

I did install Blue HD skin as suggested by master g but it was saying it downloaded but it wasn't anywhere in the box only in uninstall plugins/ skins. So I had thought there was another skin conflicting it so I went into usr/share/enigma 2 and deleted the old one I had in the box as well as the default skin it was my own stupidity as I did see it was the default skin.

It was there you just did not activate the skin in the correct section of the image. I cant think of the exact path rite now as I am at work but it's in menu> setup> system> somewhere at the very bottom of the list.

Thanks pheonix you were right it was in setup/ system/ user interface/ skin setup . I had saw it there ages ago whenever I was browsing the box but I forgot about it lol. :14_002::thumb:
