Oscam not working - Followed Tutorial

Hi,

I have followed the Tutorial word for word, using Ubuntu 12.04.5 along with the Oscam in the Tutorial.. When I type in the commands below is what is showing. I reinstalled Ubuntu to see if the settings were wrong but they were OK. Any help would be appreciated..

I am assuming this is the tutorial you were following => Tutorial: Updating Oscam to latest SVN - Ubuntu & debian with Simplebuild

The commands you are trying are wrong. Paste each line into telnet, pressing enter after each.

Thanks master g.. Yes, I was following the tutorial, I'll change the command,,do these commands apply to all Oscam?

Those commands bring you to the simplebuild menu, which creates the latest revisions of oscam. Is that what you are trying to do or something else ?

I'm new to this setting up Oscam, trying to go by step by step.. At this stage I would be looking to get Oscam up and running just,

Lets assume you have installed oscam by following this => Tutorial - Ubuntu Server 11.10, 12.xx, 13.04 x32/x64 - Auto Oscam/CCcam 2.1.3 Install

FTP the oscam configs to /usr/local/etc folder.

Start oscam in telnet:

Apologies for my nievity, Im lost... I was reading the tutorial on updating Oscam, but I havent managed to get Oscam on the server, So I would guess simplebuild comes after this stage. I had a full head of hair before starting this, Can you advise me how to get to the stage were it shows streamboard being complete, were file check and package check are completed? thanks in advance

Forget about installing simplebuild for now, it`s not needed at this stage. Follow the guide from post #6 first, it will install oscam along with all the start scripts that are needed. If you want to update the version of oscam later then use simplebuild.
