  • Hi

    Thanks for this great forum, will most definately donate :)

    I have an issue You might assist me with.

    I am currently running a DM7020 with 2 Cards. 1 Viasat and 1 Canal Digital. The box is running Gemini with CCAM 2.1.4. It has been a rock solid platform.

    In the rest of my house i run on VU+ solo2 boxes.

    The problem started when my Canal Digital Card broke and they shipped me a new one. I replaced the Card but got no signal.

    When i run it in debug mode i get:

    CCcam: local ecm -> card /dev/sci1 0xb00(0x000)
    CCcam: local ecm <- card /dev/sci1 error
    CCcam: cam[0] ecm odd nok caid:0xb00 Akta/KabelKiosk/TVN/DigitAlb/Technisat/Aktiv TV/My TV/T-Home/Magio Sat/Starmax HD (5E/9E/13E/16E/19E/60E/68E/4W/30W)
    CCcam: local ecm -> card /dev/sci1 0xb00(0x000)
    CCcam: local ecm <- card /dev/sci1 failure from cache

    I was wondering if there is a quick fix or i need to study up on OSCAM and use one of my VU+ boxes for the sharing instead. Actually the real problem is that i dont understand the error code: ecm odd nok

    Thank You.

  • oscam is your solution!
    possible I have a backup of gemini 4.70 with newer oscam and config for both Viasat
    and canal digital. Will check this.

    I found a backup and did some changes so that it works to your card,You can test this.

    contains:
    - oscam-1.20-modern-r1103
    - Channel list 0.8w+4.8e
    - cfg for Canal Digital / Viasat Norway
    - Upper reader: Canal-digital 0b00
    - Lower reader: Viasat 090F

    - ready to share with CCcam protocol to 2 client boxes!
    C: 127.0.0.1 12000 box1 box1
    C: 127.0.0.1 12000 box2 box2

    Do you want to make changes go to files in /etc/tuxbox/config/
    Remember to restart oscam if you make changes,
    or you can change things in webif very easy.
    127.0.0.1:8888
    user=oscam
    password=oscam

    This backup works with 0b00 and 090F cards

  • Thank you once more for this great forum.

    I have installed the image. It seems as if the card is found

    Code
    58E808 r upper [internal] type: Conax, caid: 0B00, serial: ##########, hex serial: ########, card: v64
    2014/12/05 20:53:29   58E808 r upper [internal] Providers: 1
    2014/12/05 20:53:29   58E808 r upper [internal] Provider: 1  Provider-Id: 000000
    2014/12/05 20:53:29   58E808 r upper [internal] Provider: 1  SharedAddress: ########
    2014/12/05 20:53:29 58E808 r upper [internal] found card system conax
    2014/12/05 20:53:29 58E808 r upper [conax] THIS WAS A SUCCESSFUL START ATTEMPT No 1 out of max alloted of 1

    Now unfortunately this happens:

    Code
    2014/12/05 22:21:51   5ACA78 c oscam (0B00&000000/0000/0259/xxx): rejected group (0 ms) - DR 1 (no matching reader)
    2014/12/05 22:21:51   5ACA78 c oscam (0B00&000000/0000/0259/xxx): rejected group (1 ms) - DR 1 (no matching reader)

    If I look in the webinterface for entitlements i have 3:

    Code
    package 0B00 2014-12-01 2014-12-31 CanalDigital / 0.8w / Norsk
    package 0B00  2014-12-01 2014-12-31 CanalDigital / 0.8w / Norsk
    package 0B00  0100107B 2014-12-01 2014-12-31 CanalDigital / 0.8w / Norsk

    This is a brand new Canal digital card. Could that be the reason? And how should I proceed?

  • The 0B00 caid is used by several providers that use Conax, its not just Digitalb. The original Poster is referring to Canal Digital (Scandinavia) on 1w

    Nano

  • Code
    2014/12/05 22:21:51   5ACA78 c oscam (0B00&000000/0000/0259/xxx): rejected group (0 ms) - DR 1 (no matching reader)
    2014/12/05 22:21:51   5ACA78 c oscam (0B00&000000/0000/0259/xxx): rejected group (1 ms) - DR 1 (no matching reader)

    the card is Norwegian or Danish??
    probably Norwegian since this appears!
    according channel (no matching reader) so you see or a client on DR1 and this does not exist on a Norwegian cards.
    conclusion: nothing is wrong:thumb:

  • Hi again. It is a danish card. I should be able to see it.

    Hi again

    Driving me mad tbh :)

    To isolate and troubleshoot more. I have moved the Canal Digital to a Vu+ solo2 box with openpli 4.

    I have update oscam to version 1.20-unstable_svn, build r10074

    These are my configs.

    OSCAM.CONF

    OSCAM.DVBAPI

    Code
    P: 0B00:000000 1

    OSCAM.SERVER

    OSCAM.USER

    Code
    [account]
    user                          = oscam
    pwd                           = oscam
    monlevel                      = 4
    au                            = 1
    group                         = 1

    OScam log.

    Hairs are getting grey :)

  • you do not need this in oscam.dvapi:
    P: 0B00: 000000 1

    if you use it so this is correct:
    P: 0B00:000000 # prioritise CAID 0100 with provider 123456

    you can also take away:

    Code
    ecmwhitelist 		      = 0B00@000000:56,5B,68

    Have never seen anyone use this on your card

    your card is also just updated with these package:

  • I made the changes you suggested.

    These are the entitlements in the web interface.

    Code
    package	0B00	000000	0000000000008010	01000080	2014-12-01	2014-12-31	0B00:000000 unknown
    package	0B00	000000	0000000000008013	01000020	2014-12-01	2014-12-31	0B00:000000 unknown
    package	0B00	000000	0000000000008014	0100107B	2014-12-01	2014-12-31	0B00:000000 unknown

    These are the errors in the log.

  • Changed it as You suggested.

    Those are the only 3 entitlements this card gets.

    Remember that this is a brand new card. They told me that it could take up to 1 hour before the card was initialized. What that means i dont know.

    I still get errors though.

  • Whoop sorry for all the messages. They needed an approval :)

    Further investigation shows that Canal Digital has started to tie the card to the receiver just like Viasat is doing.

    They needed the serial number of my box and i gave them my "old" receivers number.

    I am waiting to see if this might solve my problem.

    Is OSCAM capable of imitating a serial number?
