stuck with original firmware please help

    i am currently restricted to using the original firmware my box came with because every time i try a newer firmware my common interface refuses to unscramble my dragon and diablo cams can anyone help or explain why this is happening and suggest a solution thanks sparky7 ps my firmware is from 31 08 2010 and is listed as mt 10083118
