hi everyone i was wondering if anyone can help me out here.i have a nbox on the pli image and was wondering if i can reflash the box with the vix image

The nBox uses a SH4 chipset which is not supported by the VIX team.
Its basically OpenPli/7.1.6, Graterlia or PKT. Those are your choices.
I always found PKT Hyperion or PKT Nebula wee the best image for that box.
