Save my favorites in a bricked STB?

    My satellite receiver got bricked all by its own while i was changing channels :s??, i was told it may be because a power sag. It wont boot up.
    after research i learned i have to reflash its bootloader and then flash its software.. ok but i dont want to lose my favorites list that i compiled in a lifetime :23_002:. :72:so how can i back them up before i do this process?
