Hello friends! My server is going crazy today! Every time I connect my net cable to my server I loos my internet connection. Can it be the network card who is dead? Any solutions for my, or just make a new one? Regards POS

did it have ip clash with router ?

do you use static ip or dhcp in network interface ?

From router it is DHCP, but om my server and on few pc I have static ip. It look like clash, but is it possible? Regards POS

Can you login as root and perform tests Pos ?
ping ect ?

check network interface ?

Did you have a dodgy peer hammering you perhaps ?

Yes I can login, but just a short time, because I lost my net. I can change interface, but I don't now how to make it default in linux. Is there any test I can do so I will now something about hardware? Regards POS

Extract attached file.. Open /etc/network folder on the ubuntu.. FTP interfaces file to the same folder.. Restart the network with this command or reboot:

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
