Thought I'd post this for those here who aren't already aware of this.
I've released (currently up to v4.0) a Smart TV app for Samsung E,F and H series TVs to allow you to stream from your E2 box to your Samsung smart tv.
Current feature set includes:
- Configuration of IP Address and ports on startup
- Filter of number prefixes when channels have a number in their name
- Selection of bouquet to use on startup
- Channel/Bouquet Selection
- Now/Next channel information
- Picons based on Service ID or Service Name
- Stream or Transcode
- Full Screen playback
- Full screen channel change with now/next on info bar
- View/Playback of recordings
- Zap to channel
- Multiple Audio Stream selection
You can get the full information, downloads, instruction/etc from my website where this is hosted:
http://www.pembo.co.uk/e2stream/
The installation and setup requires you to enable a ‘develop’ account on your TV. You also need Java v7 or v8 to run the installer.
I've attached a screenshot to this, and also below is a link to a video of an earlier version I recorded from youtube so you can see what this is about.
Note - the video stream quality in youtube is poor due to it being a recording from the emulator and not a TV!
