mx box reflash

I have done mx2 a while back.
Dunno if mx is the same though.
Here's where i got the tutorial and firmware from (paste link into browser) :

Toothpick Method Instructions:

1.Unplug the power to the box.
2.Using a toothpick or something similar, insert it into the back of the A/V port until you hear a slight click sound. (This is the hidden button in the A/V port and you should be able to feel the button depress)
3.Holding the button down in the A/V port, you will plug the box back into the power. Keep holding down the button and count to 20 then release.
4.You should now be in recovery
5.Wipe user data and cache.

Reboot your box and it should come up with default settings.

thats right codar then its a simple task of installing xbmc and repositories and mobdro etc

i have been able to flash my mx box with android 4.2 and have no problems

I have an MX Box which I need to upgrade/flash. Where can I find the applicable software? Many thanks.
