I was looking around for a new receiver for under £150 and cane across the amiko alien 2 and octagon sf8 and I need you guys recommendation on what to get from either of these two boxes or if you know any better box for under £150. I'll highly appreciate it

Pretty much depends on what your looking for in a receiver but for around £100 you could get a Vu+ Zero single tuner or the new TM Nano SE single tuner (The sponsor is knocking a further fiver off the Nano SE until feb the 6th if memory serves).
I would get a medialink if you want a cheap good single tuner i feel it was better than an octagon and i wouldnt give my worst enemy an amiko
Why's that. I had an amiko alien 8900 before it was doing good until I started having freeze problems which amiko fixed for me through RMA.
Should I get a Vu+ solo2 a friend of mine is selling his for £150?

The vu+ solo2 turned out to be a clone so i return it. But now i am having a hard time deciding between Vu+ zero and Technomate Nano se. Both have similar specification but i was just wondering which one have more support from image makers.
