  • hi guys,
when I try to install opensc pcscd libccid on a fresh
ubuntu 12.04.05 server it tells me:

    *******************************************
Package opensc is not available, but is referred to by another
package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been
obsolete, or is only available from another source

E: Package 'opensc' has no installation candidate.

    *******************************************

the same for pcscd and libccid

when installing on an ubuntu desktop 12.04 there is no
problem. what is wrong in ubuntu server?

do i have to add sources manually?

    thanks in advance guys
