  • Is it possible to read a $KY UK card in my VU+ Duo on PLi with Oscam after my cancellation date?
My card is currently in a DRX890 and due to be cancelled next month.

I am aware that the $KY HD will not work, but I have Bee T sport HD which is not going to expire.
I was going to use the folowwing guide to set it up for Oscam only http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=3271

Will this still work for the SD channels and my my Bee T sport HD, what settings will I need to change in order to block the 'kill' command from comming down when my cancellation date is due?

    Thanks

  • All you can do is put AU off and the card will run to the expiry date only but if you keep bt sports it will effect that updating , to be fair thats pretty dishonest thing to do though as you wont be paying for the service but still use it but thats between you and your maker

The card is currently paired to the DRX890 and can`t be used in any other receiver. You would need to pair the card to an official standard definition model to be able to use it in the duo.

The configs that you linked to will work enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-9808_uk-configs-openpli_4.0_all.ipk

By pairing the card to an SD model you will likely lose BT Sport HD channels as well, SD will be fine.

  • Thanks for that Steve,

Do I need to set AU to 0 on oscam.conf or oscam.user

If I leave the default settings on oscam.server I should be fine?

  • Okay managed to get the SD stuff working for the entertainment and kids stuff etc, not getting any Bee T sport SD or HD?

This is the log from trying on ESPN SD.

    Any ideas guys?
