changing enigma image

Im a total Newbee to this .. so sorry if this is a silly question.. I have an alien 2 with openpli 4 (i think) enigma image on it... It was installed by the lad I got it off of along with the cccam settings... I am hoping to change the image as I am finding this one very slow I found a nice one but when I installed it it I could not watch the channels that needed the cccam. Is there a way I can find out my setting so I can transfer them to the new image...
