I imagine NBC sports extra will require some kinda VPN.
I use unlocater.com, add the american ip address to the network settings/dns server on the receiver..
-
you will need an american ip address,,,,,,,purchase a vpn subscription,,,,,,
-
Hi Guys,
I just might have a go at this.....
Once I have the American IP address how do I add it in Blackhole 2.14 - do I just have to change the current primary dns in the " Network Settings"or add it as a secondary one somwhow ?? ...or am I totally in the wrong place and talking a load of rubbish..LOL !!
....not too sure what I need to do so just checking..
Cheers -
I've got Unblock us so ill add my dns and see what it's like.

Many thanks master G
I have changed all the settings according to your guide.. but when I go to run the addon I am getting a "http 403 error Forbidden"....in the TSmedia error log... I must be doing something wrong or not done something I should have.Any kind suggestions?
Cheers -
master g can you give me a walkthrough on how to get this on my duo before i harm a person in my house hehehe

Didnt work in xbmc launcher or TSmedia for me. I was using the latest version of nbcsn live extra which is 0.0.7.. This is the error i got when trying..
Works fine in KodiDirect though.. Make sure you are clicking video when choosing a link, clicking the title of events just loops you back to the menu..
-
Hi master G,
I am extemely grateful for your help but I must be either as thick as the stuff in a pigs sty ( coz I am now doubting myself as to what I am doing and whether I am doing it right ) or I have totally lost the plot !! LOL !!
So I tried installing Kodi which was successful and then adding nbcsnextra which seemed to add ok - now after clicking on the link for it ..nothing happens ...Aghhh !!
Then I realised you had kindly added an update file for the plugin for nbcsn ( DOH ) ...Checked on version of nbcsn in TSmedia and it is 0.0.6 ... only thing is can I hec remember how to install it - is it loaded via ftp to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions ??
Sorry to be a pain...I will get this to work one way or another !!! It might take a few more bottles of broon ale but I'll get there LOL !!
Cheers. -
FTP to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/TSmedia/addons/sport/ delete the existing plugin.video.nbcsnliveextra folder, then send over the new version..
Did you check the setup guides on unlocater website to see if you can add the details to your router instead ? Setup guides for unlocater
-
Many thanks master G - yeah changing the settings on the router was my next option and probably my last option LOL !!
I'll give this new version of nbcsn a try first and see what happens...I really do appreciate ya help.
CheersUPDATE:
Tried the 0.0.7 version of nbcsn in TSmedia and now getting new error which is "import error: No Module named httplib2" ( no idea what that is ).I think I need a lie down...

Well I am still trying to persuade this little thing to work...been a long night LOL.
I have managed to get rid of the import error by reinstalling Kodi ( strange - which incidentally doesn't loads the nbcsn for me either).
I can now access the menus in nbcsn vis TSmedia however when I select anything... nothing loads or .Not sure my router will let me change the dns settings ( as read up on it and apparently it is not changeable in the hub5's ).....DOH!!
I'm tired now.....time to sleep on things and revisit with a clearer head..
Cheers -
quick way to change nameserver is to ftp
/etc/resolv.confedit resolv.conf
nameserver xx.xx.xx.xx
nameserver xx.xx.xx.xxsave
-
