image flash problem

hi
ive had my solo 2 for a few months and thought i would try some of the different images out there. i was on openvix image. i tried blackhole 2.15 back up image and have just changed again to open pli 4.0 image.
when i reboot my solo the blackhole start up logo appears before the open pli logo.
anyone any idea how to stop this

after your post i searched for the splash screen problem and found that most images provide their own.
open pli doesnt provide one which is why i am left with the blackhole splash screen which is the last image i flashed.
for anyone interested you can restore the original vu splash screen.
