Adding an External USB HDD
1/ Box was switched on and i plugged USB HDD into rear USB
2/ Waited a minute for the box to recognise disk being present
3/ Pressed Green/Green to go into Extras Menu
4/ Went to Devices Manager
5/ My HDD was viewable here .. highlighted it then pressed 'Yellow' to format
6/ This was a 160gb disk and took about 10 minutes to format
7/ When completed a message should appear saying the box needs to reboot.
8/ Once rebooted, went back into Green/Green button Extras Menu and Devices Manager
9/ Pressed Red for mountpoints
8/ On mine i selected media/USB as i already have a HDD installed internally mounted as media/HDD
9/ Once mounted, it rebooted again and then all was ok
If you are installing an Internal HDD
1/ Switch off the box from the mains and install your HDD internally.
2/ Once completed, switch box back on
3/ Then Please continue as per point 3 above (for internal disks you need to mount it as media/HDD)
