Installing CCcam Oscam on a router

  • I want to install CCcam or OScam on a router, preferably a linksys router but any would work. I want to use it with a Dish receiver VIP722. If someone can point in the right direction, I'll really appreciate that. Please also kindly advise if I need to MOD the VIP722. I heard no AVR is needed if the router is modded.

Hoping to get some answers. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi, do you know the OS for your router, if it's linux then you would need to get source for oscam and compile it, I don't think you will be able to install CCcam as it has always been closed source and you can't create new binary without source code.
