Hi Guys,
First of all I thank you for your great work and the knowledge you give for free. This is the best place to learn Satellite hobby.
I am having a problem choosing a fast and stable image for my DM800 se clone. I have tried six of them and they all end up crashing or freezing.
Now my box is sitting on the table without an image.
Who can advice me of a fast and stable image for this box? I know there are guys here with similar experience.
Please I need your help.

No that`s for original dreamboxes only. Which sim and bootloader do you have ?
Assuming you have sim 2.10 and bootloader 84d try these clone images:
OpenPLi4-oe2-800se-sim2-2015-04-22-sam backup
BlackHole-2.1.5-05-02-2015-DM800se-ramiMAHER#ssl84D
i changed from bh to pli-4 a while ago, and can say it is much more stable and faster in boot and zapping channels
my preference is openatv these days followed by pli
both images work very well

don't forget to use plug in skin mover as ts media if you are planing to use can eat up a lot of memory.

Just installed OpenLi4.0 Beta, works fine but there are occasional freezes. And Hotbird 13 scan finds nothing. I have two LNB´s, Astra 19.2 E and Hotbird 13. There are few Channels from Astra and ZERO Channels from Hotbird. Am I doing something wrong? And why is the picture freezing?

Could be your dish is not set correct
Upload the latest sat xlm to your reciver and do a scan.
Dish is set correctly because with the old image I get more channels from both satellites. With OpenLI 4, Astra 19 gives half of what i used to get and Hotbird 13 gives nothing. I reloaded satellite.xml and still the same problem. Am I doing something wrong? Secondly. the picture freezes and crash out.

when you say picture freezes? is this on a FTA channel or Pay-Tv??
as if Pay ? it could be your source??
I`d try sending in a channels Bouquets likes Catseyes using Dreamset or Dreamboxedit...
Both FTA and Pay freeze. How do I get Catseyes and how do I upload into the DB?

If you don`t know how to use a channel editor like dreamset install our addons panel, then download channel lists and more from there.

The plugin comes packed as an ipk file. You can install it a number of different ways:
1) Copy to USB stick, insert into the receiver then follow on screen prompts..
2) With an FTP tool like DCC or Filezilla send the ipk to /tmp folder on the receiver then install in image menu (menu > plugins > software management > install local extension).
3) With an FTP tool like DCC or Filezilla send the ipk to /tmp folder then use this command in telnet/putty to install:
4) With DCC connect to the receiver then click Tools > Packages > Upload Package > Select the IPK..
5) Vu+ Control Center has an ipk installer..

I did install addons and got it working but suddenly the channels stop working and I don´t know why. The same channels which were working few hours ago have stopped!
What might be the cause? This is the specs of my box: Dreambox DM800hd se, Turner Alps BSBE2-801A, SIM 210, Bootloader 84b. Can you suggest a stable, fast image?
