Do I/Will I have everything I need to get going?.. Any help is much appreciated...

  • Hi, okay, I'm brand new to this I have had a read of a few threads on here and other forums.

I found the sticky by glenviewjf to be extremely helpful but I'm still unclear on a few things and hoping anyone at all can help me with this.

    thanks in advance.

Right, in my house at the moment, i have an old *** dish, coax cable with f connector.

I intend to purchase (providing it is what I need) the following:

    Receiver -

    Code

    LNB -

    Code
http://www.tracsat.co.uk/catalog/inverto-black-ultra-single-p-419.html]TRAC - digital reception products store - Inverto Black Ultra Single

Motor -I have not yet decided wether or not to get one of these, but I'm thinking it's probably better if I do.

As for wall brackets etc. the old dish i have is still up on the outside of my house so they're not needed.

Basically, I'm just looking for someone to tell me that the items I have identified will work. Also, if anyone could point out any problems they can identify I will definitely come across in terms of setup then that would be appreciated.

At the end of this, my main goal is to purchase an al-jazeera subscription card and be able to watch that.

The website I am providing links to seems to have everything i may need apart from the subscription cards. Plus, they're fairly local so i can go to them direct to get everything rather than wait on someone from ebay.

ANY help whatsoever is much appreciated, also, if anyone see's something on that site I would be better off getting, then please could you let me know.

    Cheers
