more info be required what yah running ?
if openelec got to apps openelec config in choose backup it will make a rar file in yer storage, backup, folder with date stamp , put this on yer pendrive in email yerself or what eva yah do to keep it safe , then when required jusr replace backinto same folder in choose restore
