Oscam difficulties

    Hi, Never worked on any satellite equipment before so its been a steep learning curve.
    Hardware = Wetek 1.1.4
    OS = OpenElec (SD) 5.0.8)
    OScam 4.3.7
    28.2E : Astra 2A/2C/2E/2F/Eutelsat 28A


    Have all the FTA channels working just fine (after a late night and a few resets).
    Used this video to setup.


    Just don't seem to be able to get OScam working.
    I have been provided with a cccam line :-
    N: Server.Address Port Username Password Keycode
    Have logged into Oscam and created a new Reader as a newcamd protocol and entered the relevant details in the correct places. :
    label = my n line
    enable = 1
    protocol = newcamd
    device = Server.Address
    User = username
    password = password
    Key = Keycode.


    Any pointers or a check list?

    I'm in the same boat as you, wondering if you had any success with this? would you be able to provide any insight please.


    Check the link in the reply but I haven't had much luck :(

    Device needs to be entered as you line domain then port number. i.e. should be something like name.thingy.com, 18897. Caid details need to be entered, assuming you are in UK it will be 0963 for Sly
