  • Hi, Could anyone help me get my smargo reader working. I am new to linux so please make it idiot proof. I have ubntu pc server running with oscam CCcam and I cannot seem to get smargo reader working. when #lsusb I see my smargo device id but when I try #pcsc_scan it just hangs saying waiting for the first reader....
    Also #opensc-tool --list-readers says, No smart card readers found. Is there something obvious I am doing wrong
    Thanks in advance

  • pcsc ,,, try smartreader for protocol, well and device = what ever it says on lsusb i.e 002 :003.. but it might help if others could see your configs, im a noob at this, still learning

  • Hi config file is

    [reader]
    label = slyuk
    protocol = SmartReader
    enable = 1
    device = /dev/ttyUSB0
    #if you use smartreader and device with a bus id, hash out detect as its not needed.
    detect = cd
    boxid =
    mhz = 600
    card mhz = 600
    ident = 0963:000000
    blockemm-u = 0
    blockemm-s = 0
    blockemm-g = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    group = 1
    lb_weight = 101
    caid = 0963

    but i think its either a problem with smargo or ubuntu
    thanks for help

    m8, i no this one is working, you using oscam only or oscam/cccam

  • Hi, Problem is when i pcsc-scan in linux it says no reader found and ive tried with device id. So for some reason my smargo's not being seen at all if you get me

  • In terminal write is lsusb and it should tell u wat usb bus the smartgo is in. Example 001:004

  • Hi found device id with lsusb its 002:002 but if i run opensc-tool --list-readers, its says no reader found. Also pcsc_scan just hangs looking for first reader.
