Problems with mgcamd Virmin and Sly

    Hi,


    Got some issues with mgcamd.
    I had an N line for 5 months and it was working fine, out of the blue, mgcamd was just spewing "can't decode", contacted the guy and he said everything was fine on his side.
    Got a new test line and it was working fine for a day, stopped too.
    Now I got a 3rd line which is working fine but looks like it will probably stop too and I have no idea what's going on.
    I am sure the server is fine (all 3) but it just can't decode.
    Some stuff I noticed but I don't know if it's related:


    Checking the /tmp/ecm.info, I can see the CAID showing as 0x0000 on a encrypted channel.
    I use mynovum as a skin and it used to show the CAID on the screen, now it shows as FTA even though the channel is encrypted.
    Am I missing something here?

    Silly me not posting more information.
    I tested on oscam and it gives me not found.
    The receiver is a Mutant 2400 running OpenVIX Hades 012 and my mgcamd is 1.38.
    Oscam was the latest version.

    Try with the attached configs. Convert your lines to readers with CCcam2Oscam and insert into oscam.server. Send configs to /etc/tuxbox/config folder.. Start / enable oscam from blue button / softcam manager..


    Logon to the oscam webinterface > click the Readers tab, this will show you whether you are getting any ECM from the server..

    It ran fine for hours then it started failing.
    This time (until now at least), it didn't stop for good but this not found ECMs is what a bit painful as they stop the image/sound.
    Any ideas on what could be happening?

    True, master G, I have another test line which is working fine (pings are not more than 1 sec).
    In the other hand, I have a line that I paid for 6 months and still got a month left although when I use it, I get this:

    Contacting the guy, he says it's all good on his side.
    My saga started out of the blue with not being able to use that line at all as all of the responses are "not found".

    Of course they will say it`s all good on their side, they pretend their service is as good as the real thing just to get your dough..
