Is there anyone who can help me find the right image to my dreabox DM800HD with sim 2:01 and bootloader 72nd
I have an old PLI image from 2009 it does not work at all anymore if I want to download addons and use the box for IPTV.

I think you change the bootloader to 82 84 so you can can use more recent images using dream box toolbox
yip flash latest bootloader then newer image of same bootloader should sort you
I have never updated the bootloader before. Do I 0 modem cable or it goes through the service mode and standard network connection in service mode? Which file should I upload to dm800PVR so?

been a while not sure if you can go from loader 72 straight to 84d
you may need to go to 76 firstly
flash bootloader via browser dont reboot then flash image via browser then reboot thats how i do it no harm to flash loader again after flashing image
