Openatv5.0 image backup

Backup image based on openatv-5.0-wetekplay-20150706

Included:

Autobouquets (set for ROI sd with hd swap enabled)

Custom "Favourites" Bouquet (Free to air channels)

Crossepg (set to 28.2. storage device set to usb/hdd)

Oscam ip of wetek:8888 usr=root passwd=oscam. Just add a reader in oscam.server file

Picons pack included in image (piconssnp8bit220x132: Credit goes to Oktus, pauldb and croke)

Blue HD V3 skin as default by Rossi2000

Red HD V1.6 skin by Rossi2000

Matrix HD skin

Lan enabled by default

Installation:

You will need an sd card with a capacity of 1gb or larger. (I used a 1gb card but would recommend a 2gb+ card)

Format your micro-sd card using sdformatter (if the card has been previously used in your wetek, windows will not format it properly, it will only format the partition it recognises)

Extract backup image

Use Win32DiskImager to write backup image to sd card.

You can get it here

Insert sd card into wetek and power it on.

Have a usb/hdd inserted for crossepg (I used a sandisk 8gb formatted to ext3)

At this point, autobouquets needs to be configured for desired region (roi as default with swap enabled), auto download (not enabled by default)

Video output may also be changed (set to 720p as default)

I find a major improvement in sd picture quality with this build

Problems:

Time-shift and recordings do not work.

Still cannot grab a screen shot with either telenet or webif.

Red hd skin is very over-sized , can't find a way to resize it

Blue hd skin is also slightly oversized but manageable

Please report any (other) problems

I doubt it would (probably different drivers etc) but honestly, I have no idea.
It was created on a wetek.

I used win32Diskimager to clone the sd card from the wetek.
I did test it before i uploaded it though.
Might have been a problem when i compressed it.
I'll report back in a bit.

Yip, there is definately something wrong with the file size.
I'm gonna close this thread for the time being and remove the backup.
I'll open it again either tonight or tomorrow when i get it sorted.

Ok, I figured out what went wrong.
Since i created the backup on an 8gb card, the first partition that windows reads is more or less blank space (7.4 gb)
I have created an updated backup which is now attached to the first post.
It was created on a 1gb card and I have test written it back to both 1&2 gb cards without problems. (I'd recommend using a 2gb card or larger)
You will need to use sd formatter to format your sd card if it was previously used in your wetek as windows will only format the first partition it recognises which will not format or wipe the card totally.

Power button works with e2 remote (which is set as default)
If your using the standard remote, it may work if you go into settings ang change the default rcu from e2 remote.

Thinking back, I don't think the power button work on the standard remote with openatv.
They may have fixed it now though.
Works ok with the e2 remote.
