But if i turn off the DHCP on the network interface and set custom name server , after reboot the DM the DNS is not set. Why? How can i permanently save the dns entry?

had the same problem mate, also with 2.1.6
setting up the image, and subsequently any reboot removed the nameserver ip and resorted back to zero's, it created all major problems on my network.
Nice image but buggy.

No mate no chance the uploader and the the dev.
never answer to bugs.

This image never allows WLAN connection.
Even there is no WLAN connection button.
Only LAN is allowed. What a big miserable!!!!

How come their is never ssl88a new images only ssl84 :(
