  • Hi,
I am a newbie to all this and had a question, does anybody know anything about the Omnisat Vu Qube hxxp://www.aerialshack.com/maxview-omnisat-qube-portable-satellite-system-p-1372.html Maxview Omnisat Vu Qube Portable Satellite System from Aerial Shack[/url]) and its signal strength, it says it is the equivalent of a 54cm dish. What satellites would this be able to pick up in the south of england?

    Thanks for the help

  • Hi, thanks for the reply, I just want to be able to watch 3pm games, so I need it to receive hotbird at the least really so hopefully it can get 13e, but ideally as many sats as possible.
The vu qube is expensive, but I cant have a fixed dish on the house, so if this were to be able to pick up the satellite I would be willing to pay the extra money.

    Thanks for the advice

  • I have just bought a spiderbox 9000, so I am relying on the "gift" channels for the footie, so hopefully I should be able to get n*va and JSC sport, I believe they show premier league?

  • I would love to mount a dish, it would be much cheaper, and easier, not to mention more channels, but unfortunately that is not an option for me, so I think this is the best solution I can find

Here is a rough guide taken from lyngsat but i have have a feeling you will be disappointed, especially during bad weather.

  • I ordered this from ariel shack on the 15th of November, and still have not received it, avoid them like the plague! their support is awful, and they just keep trying to fob be off, I have just cancelled my order, so when I get if from a different company I will post a review of the sats I can get.
